I retain session records and client notes for up to 7 years (in line with insurance recommendations), after which they are securely deleted or destroyed.

Everything you share with me in a session is kept confidential. The only exceptions to this are:

  • If I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else
  • If I’m required to share information by law
  • If I’m asked to provide limited information to a professional supervisor (a standard practice to maintain quality and ethics)

In any of these cases, I will always aim to speak with you first wherever possible.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data I hold about you
  • Request changes or corrections to your information
  • Ask for your information to be deleted (except where I must retain it for legal or insurance reasons)
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (though this may affect how we work together)
